John was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Central Missouri (1981) and the University of Missouri (1987). After graduation he took a position with McDonnell Douglas in the Middle East for 8 years. After completing his contract as Group Manager of Finance he moved to Denver, CO in 1996. He was President of Hancock Financial Planning prior to joining SCA in February of 2000. He holds the CFP certification and is a member of SCA’s Investment Committee.
John is an avid Cardinal baseball fan and is a member of SABR (Society for American Baseball Research). In addition, he enjoys BBQ’ing, hiking and fishing when he isn’t at work.
Jonathan grew up in Arlington, Virginia. He graduated from Miami University (1986). He has been an employee of SCA since completing his Masters Degree in Finance from the University of Denver in 2000. He is a member of SCA's Investment Committee.
Jonathan spends most of his time away from SCA with his family: wife Rachel and children Benton and Ava. He enjoys cooking, yoga, skiing, volunteering at the Denver Waldorf School and is patiently waiting for the Washington Redskins to return to glory.
Mark is Colorado native growing up in Lakewood and Golden. He graduated from the University of Arizona (1996) and received his Masters in Business from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (2002). Beginning in 2001, Mark joined SCA under a one year internship that evolved into full time employment in 2002. In 2005, he moved to London and joined British Telecommunications in the operations and IT departments. He re-joined SCA in 2009. He is a CFA Charterholder and is also a member of the Downtown Denver Leadership Program for 2010. Mr. Hauserman is a member of SCA's Investment Committee.
Mark has three children, Anna, Luke and Mason and enjoys traveling with them whenever he can.
Phil spent his childhood in the suburbs of Illinois until his family moved to Memphis, TN when he was a teenager. He attended college at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and received a degree in Economics. After graduating from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1998 he started working for Ford Motor Credit Company. He was very mobile during his years at Ford relocating to Memphis TN, Nashville TN, Charlotte NC, Atlanta GA and Macon GA in his first 8 years with the company. He moved to Colorado in 2006 to be closer to his wife’s family. Phil spent 11 years with Ford Motor Credit Company. He then joined SCA in 2009 as the Operations and Support Manager.
Phil enjoys riding four wheelers with his sons in the summer and snowmobiling in the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming in the winter. He and his wife have two boys, Owen and Ryan.
Andrew serves as an Adviser for SCA and manages all of the relationships for the Professional Athlete's Services division. Andrew played basketball at the University of Virginia from 1985-1988. Upon graduating from UVA he was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers. After one year in the NBA he played professionally overseas for 16 years, including 12 years in Israel. Since retiring four years ago, he has helped many players and coaches in the U.S. and International basketball community develop investment strategies.
